Walker : Fine is a Four Letter Word Round Table Review

A new episode of Walker, called “Fine is a Four Letter Word”, has arrived and this time no one is really safe at all. Things are getting a bit stormy, not just because of the tornado. Joining me (Rike) on this round table review is Kassi. Let’s do this!

Walker: Fine is a Four Letter Word Synopsis

A tornado touches down in Austin and it’s all hands on deck to keep the kids and community safe. Walker (Jared Padalecki), Micki (Lindsey Morgan) and Trey (Jeff Pierre) rush to the school where Stella (Violet Brinson), August (Kale Culley) and Ruby (Madelyn Kientz) are at a school dance.

Your opinion about this episode in general?

R: One hell of an episode I can tell you that. DAMN!! There was so much going on and just when you thought you were safe there was even more drama. Time to breathe? No. But I’m all here for it. It’s getting more and more intense every episode and I can’t wait for the one big reveal in the end.

K: I loved that it focused on so many different characters and the different issues that they were dealing with. There were also times where my heart was beating so fast because I was actually scared for the characters that were out in the tornado. I do think that they did a great job in making you feel so many different emotions all at once.

Trevor (Gavin Casalegno) seems like he’s caught between his feelings for Stella and his loyalty to his father. What do you think is going to happen now that Stella knows the truth about his father?

K: I hope that she will tell her father about what she found out because it could put her whole family in danger. Unfortunately I do not think that this is what’s going to happen – at least not for a while. What she might do is talk to Trevor again in order to find out what he has already told his father and to ask him why he did what he did.

R: I agree with you. She probably won’t tell her dad the big news just yet – even though she definitely should. I mean, we know how it’s going to end, right (talking about Micki and Liam here)? I still don’t trust Trevor though. Every time he appears I’m getting some bad vibes. Hopefully he won’t hurt Stella and her family. Fingers crossed that I’m wrong.

Micki is trying to avoid the reality as much as she can. Now that she finally told Trey about it – do you think that’s some kind of weight falling from her shoulders now? And does this affect their relationship in any way?

R: It was probably a big step for her to tell Trey about it and drop the bomb. Hopefully this might help her to deal with it, knowing that she’s not alone. Trey’s reaction was kind of predictable. I mean, of course he’s a bit disappointed and maybe even a bit jealous that Micki told Cordell about it first. But I guess it’s not a really big deal. That’s just like the first “shock” he has to process. But in the end this won’t ruin their relationship in any way. Hopefully.

K: I think it might actually help her to talk to a person who knows her on such a deep level because she never has to hide what she’s feeling from him. In regards to their relationship, we have already seen how unhappy Trey was about the fact that Micki kept that secret from him. Thinking about it now, I think that he initially reacted that way because Micki had told someone else before she told him – “her person”. They might have a longer talk about keeping secrets from each other but I don’t think it will affect their relationship long-term.

While being in the elevator with Bret (Alex Landi), Liam (Keegan Allen) confesses that something had happened on his work trip to Mexico. He lied to Bret and told him that he hooked up with a bartender. Right decision or completely dumb?

K: I really don’t think that that was the right decision but I also think it’s easier to judge the situation from an outsider perspective. Putting myself in Liam’s shoes I honestly can’t say I wouldn’t have done the same thing to protect the people I love.

R:You’re right Kassi – it’s easier to judge Liam’s decision from an outsider perspective. He just wants to protect the people he loves and don’t want them to get hurt in the end. Maybe he could have done it differently. Who knows? I just want him to be happy again. Give this man a hug, please! Now.

Can’t end this review without mentioning the last scene with Cordell and Liam. Masterpiece or masterpiece?

R: One big masterpiece for sure!!! All these emotions even though there wasn’t a lot of dialogue in this scene. WOW!! One big round of applause for this one. This definitely is a scene to remember. 100%.

K: MASTERPIECE 100%!! I’m not even lying, I can’t stop thinking about that scene. I honestly can’t wait to see how this storyline continues and how it will affect the brothers’ relationship. Keegan and Jared did such an amazing job here!
