Tomodachi Game “You Have A Lot To Say To Me Don’t You” Review

Tomodachi Game “You Have A Lot To Say To Me Don’t You” is the second episode of the Tomodachi Game anime. This episode leaves behind the first game in episode 1. With a lot of smart thinking from Yuichi and more than a little betrayal from his supposed friends. Finding out that Sawaragi likes him, he realises that everything he did protected her instead of Kokorogi. The next game begins, with the friends playing what again seems simple but there are people amongst them determined to damage their reputations and the Kageguchi game is the perfect way to do it.

Romance causes issues

During the Kageguchi game, the friends are put to the test when it’s clear doing things together isn’t going to be an option. Each square has a – or + to their debt and someone instantly betrays them following this revelation. Personally I don’t think it was any single one of the obvious suspects, right now, to me, Kokorogi looks like the most suspicious one because of how not suspicious she is. Two games now and she’s managed to slip under everyone’s radar so far, obviously I don’t believe it’ll stay that way but this game was far more simple in it’s approach to splitting up the team.

Whilst more simple, I do prefer this game to the first, maybe it’s the gossip in me but seeing everyone spread everyone else’s gossip so freely out of revenge is weirdly fascinating to the point that I wanted this to be an hour long episode not a half hour. I don’t wanna have to wait to see the shenanigans unfold as they get deeper into the Kageguchi game.

Can’t wait for next week! I’ve got a feeling someone might be outed as a potential traitor but I hope not, I’m loving the show and want it to go on for as long as possible.
