Shadow and Bone : Season 2 Casting News
We’ve got some wonderful news to share with you guys. The wait is finally over and the day has arrived. We got the four major casting announcements for Season 2 of Shadow and Bone and I couldn’t be any happier. What about you guys? Let’s give the four of them a very warm welcome, shall we?
Shadow and Bone Synopsis
Shadow and Bone follows a war-torn world in which a cartographer Alina Starkhov (Jessie Mei Li) resides. A sudden turn of events sees Alina realising she has extraordinary powers that could be the key to setting her homeland free from a dark entity called The Fold filled with monstrous creatures called volcra.
Tolya Yul-Bataar
Lewis Singwah Tan is a British actor and martial artist known for his roles in Into the Badlands (2018–2019), Wu Assassins (2019), and Mortal Kombat (2021). He will portray the character of Tolya Yul-Bataar in Season 2 of Shadow and Bone.
Tamar Kir-Bataar
Anna Leong Brophy is a British comedian and actor. She is of Irish, Chinese, and Malay descent. She will portray the character of Tamar Kir-Bataar in Season 2 of Shadow and Bone.
Nikolai Lantsov
Patrick Leo Kenny-Gibson is an Irish actor known for his roles in The Tudors, The Passing Bells, and The OA. He will portray the character of Nikolai Lantsov in Season 2 of Shadow and Bone.
Wylan Hendriks
Jack Thomas Davies, known professionally as Jack Wolfe, is an English actor. He is known for his theatre work with the National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare CompanyCast and is set to star in the upcoming musical film The Magic Flute. He will portray the character of Wylan Hendriks in Season 2 of Shadow and Bone.

Series regulars
What about some more great news? Danielle Galligan (Nina Zenik), Daisy Head (Genya Safin) and Calahan Skogman (Matthias Helvar) have been elevated to series regulars for Season 2.
