V-Wars Watch Party & Live Tweet

V-Wars Watch Party & Live Tweet

If you’re reading this, you are officially invited to our V-Wars Watch Party and live tweet on Sunday February 21st. You’ll only need to bring your phone, a laptop, tablet or TV, your Netflix account, a blanket, a bit of your time…and a lot of snacks. If you have a Netflix buddy, don’t doubt it, don’t even ask, just bring them.

What is ‘V-Wars’?

Do you remember our favourite vampire, Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder)? Well, turns out he decided to play a bit and turn into a doctor. Yes, you’re reading this correctly: Ian Somerhalder is playing a doctor in his Netflix show ‘V-Wars’. Let me tell you in advance it’s a delight to anyone’s eyes…If you want to know more, check out our previous roundtable discussion of the show HERE.

And since I can’t endure doctor Luther Swann all by myself ―trust me, it’s an impossible task―, I need your help. In order to be able to survive this show and express my feelings and opinions about it, I need you by my side.

To provide more context, ‘V-Wars’ is a vampire show, but this time vampirism is a scientific disease. Dr. Luther Swann (Ian Somerhalder) is a very renowned scientist, and will experience some traumatic series of events that will lead him to work against vampires.

This is not all. If you’ve watched ‘Shadowhunters‘, you might find some familiar faces here. Jacky Lai will play Kaylee Vo, a girl who wants to find out what actually happened with that virus ―she won’t believe the government, duh―. And Kimberly-Sue Murray will delight us with her badass vampire role, surviving at all costs and kicking anyone’s ass. You need more?

‘VWars’ Watch Party Details

The exact details for the party would be: February 21st, 5pm CET. I’ll be live tweeting on FANdemonium’s twitter so we can all freak out together, and you’ll have my formal review soon after that. How does that sound? I plan on doing this party every Sunday at the same time. The season has only 10 episodes so it won’t take us too many Sundays to watch it.

Since ‘V-Wars’ first launched ―and even before that― Ian has been promoting it like crazy. He’s super proud since he was an executive producer, actor and director. It was a very hard project to make, but it was absolutely worth it. Funny ―not actually funny― fact: Ian ended up in hospital due to overwork, it’s a miracle he survived that. So, I think it’s only fair we watch and freak out all together about his Netflix baby.

See you on Sunday for our V-Wars Watch Party?
