NOS4A2 209: Welcome to Christmasland: Maggie and Vic confront Charlie Manx in Christmasland to rescue Wayne and keep Vic’s promise to Millie.
Christmasland

Arriving at Christmasland, Charlie Manx(Zachary Quinto) helps Wayne(Jason David) choose his new costume. Giving Wayne a gift, Charlie helps him sign the register-but he signs it “Wayne Manx”.
Fixing the Bike
Lou(Jonathan Langdon) re-fixes the bike after it failed. Not wanting Chris’s body to be alone, Vic(Ashleigh Cummings) asks Lou to stay with it, and to call Tabitha(Ashley Romans).
Blowing Up Christmasland
Finding Maggie(Jahkara J Smith) with the leftover bombs Chris(Ebon Moss-Bachrach) made, Vic reminds her that bombs won’t work on the Wraith. But Maggie has a better idea: blow up Christmasland. Vic tells Maggie she can’t come, but Maggie reminds her that she was the one that started tracking the Wraith before Vic, and she will be there to finish it. Hopping on the bike, they head toward the thinning between Christmasland and the real world that Millie(Mattea Conforti) had shown Vic.
Millie
Charlie finds a previously absent Millie, and admonishes her for not being present for Wayne’s arrival. Millie tells him about the house on the hill, and for the first time, defies her father.
A Watcher
While wondering through the vast inscape, Vic wonders if she is doing enough for Wayne, as she admits she had been a bad mother. Maggie rebuffs her doubts:
You’re here. Your kid’s a friggin’ demon, and you tore the fabric between reality and thought to come get him. That’s more than most kids get…My mom tapped out when I started dyeing my hair and kissing girls.
One of the children has seen Vic and Maggie’s entrance into Christmasland, and quick thinking Maggie stops her from attacking…for now.
There’s Something You Need to See
A clearly upset and frightened Charlie follows Millie to the house. Cassie(Celeste Arias) confronts him, telling him he was always a failure and a coward. Millie wants Cassie to leave with her, but Cassie tells her she cannot, as the house holds his memories and fears, and she is both. Cassie foresees everything he built turning to static. As he drags Millie away, she begs him to leave Christmasland with her, and he refuses.
Destroying Christmasland

Vic finds Wayne, and another child alerts Charlie to her presence. Maggie has hidden under the great Christmas tree in the square, planting a bomb underneath it. Wayne chooses to stay in Christmasland. Vic reveals to Charlie that Millie told her how to get to Christmasland, and tells Millie she can get out in the real world if she wants. Charlie tells the children to play “Scissors for the Drifter“. The children give chase to Vic and the newly outed Maggie. Vic runs into one of the shops, Maggie escapes and plants more timed bombs, but the girl she stopped earlier steals her Scrabble tiles and runs into an Ice Maze, which looks eerily familiar…Maggie gives chase.

The children surround Vic and attack, but the bomb under the Great Tree goes off, and she escapes.
An angry Charlie finds Millie in one of the shops. Again, Millie begs her father to let her grow up, again he rebuffs her. She finally decides to leave on her own, and tells Charlie:
If you want to hang Vic McQueen’s head on a tree, do it yourself.
Merry Christmas, father.
Another explosion rips through Christmasland, and Charlie starts feeling the effects, coughing up blood.
The Ice Maze
Vic plants the last of her bombs, and sees Wayne. Calling to him, he runs off into the ice maze. She follows him, arriving just in time to save Maggie from an attacking horde of children.
First mazes in the snow, now creepy ass twins. This episode…shines.

Running through the maze, they find Wayne again, and he stabs Vic. Thinking they are at the exit, Charlie appears. When they look back again, the exit is gone. Charlie tells him it is his world, that it changes on his whim. As he starts to attack the women, the bombs begin going off, and he rapidly ages and falls to the snowy ground.
Escape
Millie steps through the weak spot between worlds, and begins to turn to static. Running to an ornament filled tree, she grabs an ornament-her ornament- and the static disappears. She runs off through the trees.
The exit reappears, and Vic and Maggie leave. Vic finally asserts herself over Wayne, and tells him she is taking him home.
Christmas is over.
