Money Heist : The End of the Road Round Table Review

Our favorite gang is back at it again for their final dance and we couldn’t miss the chance to review the last episodes. Will they make it out alive? Let’s see what’s gonna happen this time. Episode 1 of Money Heist is called “The End of the Road”. Are you guys ready for some more drama? Joining me (Rike) on this round table review is Sabrina. Let’s do this!

Money Heist : The End of the Road Synopsis

Your opinion about this episode in general?

R: Damn! What a way to start the new season. I was right back in the middle of it. A new character, a lot of drama and the Professor seemed to be a genius tricking the people again and again. No surprise. Hopefully he’ll manage to escape the situation he’s in right now. However, it was a pretty good episode and I loved the flashback scenes in between.

S: What a way to start a new season of this amazing show. We’ve waited too long for it but it didn’t disappoint in any way! The professor once more blew my mind again and again. SO curious how this season will continue and what surprises it has for us!

In season 5 we are getting introduced to a new character named Rafael (Patrick Criado) who plays Berlin’s son? Your first impression?

S: I mean come on.. he is Berlin’s son! He just has to be cool and kind of creepy as well! I’m truly happy we got a new face, especially one that is related to one of the main characters! I’m sure we will get more of Rafael and I’m curious what he has to offer!

R: I already read some stuff about the fact that we would get to see some new faces this season. I didn’t know if they would play a big role or not. With Rafael it seems like we haven’t seen the last of him just yet. I’m sure it will be an interesting storyline. Maybe I’m being biased because Berlin is my favorite character, but their chemistry already shows off and I’m all here for it. A broken father and son relationship. Here we go.

The Professor seems to be in a very critical situation right now. Do you think he’ll find a way out? Do you think he’ll be able to fight Sierra?

R: It’s still the Professor we’re talking about. He always finds a way out of a critical situation even though it seems impossible. He’s a genius and I’m sure he already has a plan. Or maybe it was already part of the plan after all. Who knows? Everything seems to be possible with this series and I can’t wait to watch the rest. It’s probably gonna be mind blowing again.

S: I can only agree with Rike! We are talking about the Professor here! He has a way out of EVERYTHING! And even if you think he’s done.. he’s just not! He surprises us again and again so why shouldn’t he do that now? I can’t wait to see what will happen next!

Do you really think there’s no Plan B after all? Is the crew on their own now?

S: Puh .. it’s hard to think that there isn’t a Plan B. But at the moment it does seem impossible to get out there somehow! BUT if you watched the last seasons you know the Professor always has a Plan B and C and so on. So let’s just hope there’s another plan for all this as well. If there isn’t i will be mind blown for sure lol

R: I doubt that there’s no back up plan at all. Doesn’t seem right that the Professor only sticks with one way. He always has a couple backup plans in case something goes wrong. I would be truly surprised if there’s none at all now. But maybe this time the crew really is on their own. Gonna be one hell of a fight then. Especially with the army arriving now. God.

Your score:

R: 8.5/10

S: 8/10
