The fifth edition of Dream It Conventions’ “Dream It At Home” convention took place this past weekend, November 14th and 15th and part of our staff joined the event.

  • Henry Ian Cusik (The 100, Lost).

In this new edition there has also been new addition other than the new guests – new types of extras. Other than the usual One-on-One, group meetings, panels and video recordings, they’ve introduced 3-on-1 calls, smaller hangouts and various types of quizzes.

Our experience

Having so many guests coming from different parts of the world isn’t easy at all, but they managed to keep everything on track this time. For some of us it was the first experience, while other have been attending this event since the first one. The improvements from the past editions are definitely remarkable. From our personal experience in this con, the delays among the activities were minimal and there have been some communication problems, but everything went more than smoothly in the end and that’s what matters. There always those few execptions of course, but nothing that could ruin the overall con experience. Of all the new extras we really enjoyed the quizzes and the 3-on-1 chats, especially when shared with friends.

We’ve all been a little doubtful of online events at the very beginning, but we also really learned how to love and appreciate them, in these times where we absolutely need an escape from the real life we witness everyday on the news.

They’re doing an amazing job at keeping us entertained and we look forward to the next edition!
