Astra’s History
Astra(the televised version; for the comic version, see here.) was taken as a child by the demon Nergal in a botched exorcism by John Constantine.
Given the chance to save Ray’s soul or Astra’s during his time in hell, John chose hers. What he did not know was that she was now an adult, comfortable in hell and evil.
Astra was last seen in the season 4 finale, releasing the souls of major historical baddies like Lizzie Borden and Charles Manson back onto earth.
