Tomodachi Game “Yuichi Kun You’re Pretty Dumb Aren’t You” Review

Tomodachi Game “Yuichi Kun You’re Pretty Dumb Aren’t You” is the fifth episode of the Tomodachi Game anime. This episode follows on from the cliff-hanger at the end of episode 4. And has Yuichi and Tenji face off, quietly but tensely. Yuichi does a double bluff and uses the unique rules for the game as a way to force Tenji to expose himself as the traitor, what’s even more amazing is that he clearly had this planned from only the second game. His “innocent” play is convincing but eventually Tenji sees him for the manipulator he is, I doubt there’s anyone who could out-manoeuvre him.

Yuichi’s Plan Comes To Fruition

Ever since episode 3 we’ve known that Yuichi had something going on in the background, including everyone except for Tenji. So he must’ve figured early on that Tenji was the traitor and used the bad mouth cards as a way to hint at people what’s going on. Whether everyone was involved from the beginning or has only just realised what’s going on now is still a mystery.

Right now I’m just enjoying watching Tenji get his just deserts, I doubt this is the end for him, he’ll squirm out of it somehow and in a weird way I want him to. He keeps going on about revenge on Shiho, two years ago she took something precious from him, the guys a whacko but I wanna see what exactly it is that he believes is justification for acting like such a knob. I doubt it’ll be logical but I’m interested anyway. I’d be also interested to see just how much the rest of the gang knew, cos at the moment most of them aren’t playing mind games like Yuichi and Tenji are.

This week’s 20 minutes went by way too fast, I need the next episode in my life now!
