Shadowhunters Casts Will Tudor

It’s official! Shadowhunters casts Will Tudor as Sebastian Verlac! This post contains some book spoilers.

So here he is. Our Sebastian Verlac! The show’s execs took to TV Line and confirmed some changes in Sebastian’s story. Rather than being from the Paris Institute he will be from the London one instead. Meaning Will gets to keep that lovely accent. Unlike past co-star Dom Sherwood who puts on an American accent in order to play Jace.

Yeah, you read that right. As well as previous roles in Game of Thrones and Humans, the lovely Will had an uncredited role in Vampire Academy alongside Dom. If you’ve got the DVD, check out the deleted scene from the party. Will played the Moroi novice who brought a feeder to the party.

BOOK TALK AHEAD!!!

Will apparently has an off-screen friendship with Dom that I think is going to play beautifully into the intense connection Jace and Sebastian have in the later books.

Sebastian is described thus;

He was tall and muscular and had a slightly slender frame. He had platinum blond hair, which gave his pale skin some color, and very dark, black eyes. He had a pale, restless face with high cheekbones.

Now, I don’t know about you guys, but lighten this hair slightly and give him black contacts and I think we are on to a winner. He is pretty much exactly how I picture Sebastian in the books. Oh yeah, and that description…platinum blonde hair, black eyes… Sebastian isn’t his real name y’know… His real initials might be more like JCM…
