Shadowhunters Dust and Shadows Previews
After the shock death of Jocelyn last week, Clary takes desperate actions after the attack on the Institute. It’s time to check out the Shadowhunters Dust and Shadows Previews! The title “Dust and Shadows” is a line from Horace. Pulvis et umbra sumus – We are but dust and shadows. It’s the inscription over the gate of the London Institute in The Infernal Devices. Will says it’s appropriate for Shadowhunters since their lives are not long and they return to dust when they die.
Clary has found a warlock who says that she can bring Jocelyn back from the dead. Jace warns her that it won’t end well, and if that disgusting slime blob thing at the end is anything to go by, she probably should have listened!

Sneak peek 1 – MALEC!
Magnus finds Alec on the balcony outside his penthouse. They talk about Camille and Magnus shows just how well he knows his boyfriend already.
Sneak peek 2 – Clary wants her mom back
We saw snippets of this in the main trailer for the episode – but this expands on the conversation between Jace and Clary about bringing Jocelyn back. Jace warns Clary that he’s heard stories, that maybe she won’t get Jocelyn back, but a demon in Jocelyn form. Clary being Clary though…I don’t think she’s going to listen.
Sneak peek 3 – Simon’s sister finds his stash
Becky checks on Simon now he’s back home and finds his thermos of blood. He plays it off as a prop, fake blood for a gig, but she knows it’s real and runs off to flush it! Poor Simon, balancing being a vamp with being at home is really tough on him!
