Recap: NOS4A2 210: Bats
NOS4A2 210: Bats: The fight for Wayne and the children of Christmasland comes to an end…Or does it? Something is not right with Wayne, while Millie has a change of heart and makes plans that will endanger the rescued children.
The Bridge
After defeating Charlie Manx(Zachary Quinto) in his own Inscape, Vic McQueen(Ashleigh Cummings) must now ferry Wayne(Jason David) and Maggie(Jahkara J Smith) to safety separately in hers.
Successfully taking Wayne back through, and leaving him with Tabitha(Ashley Romans) and Lou(Jonathan Langdon), a battered Vic goes back for Maggie. Arriving just in time, Vic saves her from a demon doctor child and his friends.

Hearing the Wraith, the two are shocked to see a decrepit Charlie still alive and behind the wheel.
He chases Vic onto the bridge, much to her surprise. She stops, and decides to face him there. Holding hands with Maggie, her eye bleeding, Vic stands, willing her Inscape to do her bidding, and the bats in her bridge begin pelting the Wraith, shattering its windshield.

Charlie still inches the car forward, but the bridge stops him, the planks cracking and sending him and his Wraith into the static nothingness beneath it. Charlie Manx is dead.
When Souls Fall

Meanwhile, Lou and Tabitha are watching over a struggling Wayne. He slips away, finding his ornament and staring at it. Tabitha realizes what Maggie’s tiles meant when they spelled out “WHEN SOULS FALL,” and smashes Wayne’s bat ornament. He cries out in pain, and begins throwing up, his fangs coming out, replaced by regular teeth.
Tabitha begins smashing all the ornaments around them, and Lou helps. She calls for an ambulance and assistance when a barely moving Maggie falls from Vic’s Triumph as they appear.
Suddenly, children emerge from the trees, normal and scared.
A hidden Millie overhears that her father is dead, and that the ornaments are key, her cat ornament cradled safely in her hands.

Recovery
Time passes, and everyone is working on healing. Maggie’s tiles were found on one of the children during processing, and Vic is healthy. Around the dinner table, she finds Wayne hiding food. He is not eating, and she reprimands him.
Later that night, Vic is drawing. She has designed a robot to protect Wayne.

Vic catches Wayne in the kitchen, standing on the counter eating sugar from the bag. She again reprimands him and sends him to bed.

Millie’s Plan
Wayne sneaks out to where his ornament used to hang, and finds Millie(Mattea Conforti) feeding on a rabbit.
They both miss Christmasland, and Millie tells him she plans on finding a way back and bringing all the children with her. She asks for his help. Vic shows up, and he keeps their meeting a secret.
The Wraith is Found

Charlie’s body, along with a destroyed Wraith are found, and Charlie is cremated. Maggie, Linda(Virginia Kull), Lou, Vic, Wayne, and Tabitha are present for the Wraith’s crushing. But the hood ornament is untouched. This may be important later.

Returning
Maggie wants to do more with her powers, to find more Inscapes. Maybe destroy more monsters. But Vic doesn’t want to use her powers anymore.
Using her tiles, Maggie finds a way to find other Inscapes, and smiles as an elevator takes her into a new adventure.
What’s Wrong With Wayne
Wayne is drawing creepy things, and says he doesn’t feel right inside.
Vic assures him he will be fine with time, and takes his creepy drawing, flipping it over and starting her own.
Back to The Sleigh House

A teenage couple comes to the Sleigh House late at night for a makeout/creepout session. A loud thump on their roof isn’t enough to scare the idiots away, and they pay the price. A giddy Millie jumps onto the hood and smashes the windshield as the screen fades to black, but the screams continue…
