High Card “Crazy Rich” Review
High Card “Crazy Rich” is the third episode of the original anime High Card. Following Finn’s new knowledge at the end of episode 2, it seems to spur him on to play the hero more than ever when he sees something not quite right. Of course that’s always just been his personality but for some reason he’s quicker than ever to jump right in. This episode sees him get involved with what turns out to be another member of High Card’s group’s mission, Leo. Leo holds the Seven Of Diamonds which turns any money into a random object of it’s value. Very fitting for the Manager of Finn and Chris’ store.
It’s pretty evident that Leo has a soft spot for Finn as he’s pretty much the opposite of him, I can’t wait to see their relationship come full circle, maybe Finn can help Leo come to terms with how cold his father is towards him. One of the best parts of the episode was “coffee shop grandma” she was great, no matter what happened in her store she just stood there smiling. That’s a woman who’s seen it all. Overall this was the best episode so far, either because Leo has immediately become a favourite character or because we’re finally starting to see through his eyes the shady part of High Card, doesn’t matter it was 100% non stop fun and I’m annoyed I have to wait a whole week for another episode.
