YOU – Season 2 Review | What is Joe up to now?

Welcome back Fandemaniacs! It’s been a while since I reviewed some stuff from Netflix but with Season 2 of YOU I have something to talk about again 🙂

In the second season we have Joe who left New York after Candace, his ex  girlfriend he thought was dead, appears in the city. After all this he moves to L.A. where he finds a gorgeous woman called Love Quinn. Even tho he tries to behave and NOT fall into his old obsessive self, he can’t resist Love and the obsession find it’s way again. But more about this in my review below.

Review

As we heard before, Joe Goldberg, now hiding behind the name Will Bettelheim, moves to L.A. to escape her ex Candace who, SURPRISE, is still alive! Getting a new flat he meets Delilah and her little sister Ellie who will have a huge role in season 2 as well.

Looking for a new job, Will finds one in the vegan shop Anavrin where he meets his new victim Love Quinn. As the first episodes are going through Will and Love learn more about each other and get closer. Faster than Will ever thought. Love is definitely a new kinda girl he didn’t see coming. She is kinda controlling him and that’s what makes him a little insecure about all this. Also he still has flashbacks of Beck and that makes it even harder for him to totally fall for Love.

I have to say.. the first episodes where kinda lame because it was just Will and Love and what or what not they are doing together. We also got some glimpses on other characters like Delilah and Ellie, or Love’s brother Forty! The first few episodes didn’t blow my mind as the first season did but I’m glad I continued watching.

After the 9th episode, the shit got real, and then every damn episode got crazier with the minute. I won’t tell you everything that’s happening because it would ruin the whole season for you but let me say this. Those last episodes in Season 2 are something I seriously didn’t expect at ALL! It will totally blow your mind!

To summ it up – YOU Season 2 is very different to Season 1 but as crazy and suprising as expected! You have to get through the first episodes, where you learn a lot about the other characters but after that it will totally blow your mind!

I would definitely give it a try if you haven’t watched it yet! It is totally worth it! If you watched it already, let us know your thoughts about Season 2 in the comments below! We would love to hear what your thoughts are!
