The Viscount Who Loved Me
Since I was and still am in love with Netflix’s Bridgerton, I decided to read the books. But instead of starting at the beginning I decided to just start with the second book The Viscount Who Loved Me. This one is about Anthony Bridgerton and how he decides this is the season he wants to get married. I loved the Duke but there is just something about Anthony that I just fall in love with him. Anthony is very proud and stubborn and he likes to get his way. So when he makes up his mind about getting married, he was going to marry only the very best girl of the season. That happens to be the beautiful Edwina Sheffield. What Anthony wasn’t expecting was Edwina’s older sister, Kate Sheffield.
Kate Sheffield has decided she doesn’t wanna get married even though her step-mother has other plans. Kate is used to all the men looking past her to look at her sister. Edwina looks to Kate for her approval of whom she will be married to. Kate does NOT approve of the rake that is Anthony Bridgeton.
These two, Kate and Anthony, just love to get under each other’s skin. Anthony knew Kate didn’t want him to marry her sister and he didn’t care. The more he came to call on Edwina the more he couldn’t help but lust after Kate. He was fighting a losing battle. Just when he thinks he is going to win this internal battle, a bee sting changes both of their lives forever.
I wanna say more but I won’t cause I really think everyone should read or listen to this book. It is amazing. So much fun, laughter, heartbreak and love. I can’t wait to watch it.
