Spy X Family “Penguin Park” Review
Spy X Family “Penguin Park” is the twelfth episode of the Spy X Family anime. After the happenings in episode 11 this episode, the finale, takes a new turn. After working tirelessly on his missions, Loid takes Anya and Yor to Berlint Aqualand to convince his neighbors that they are a happy family. However, he is also forced to retrieve a microfilm containing plans about nuclear weapons that is being smuggled through a penguin. Anya secretly helps Loid locate the film and convinces Yor to apprehend the culprit. In the end, Loid successfully convinces his neighbors about his family and gives Anya a penguin plushie. The next day, Anya roleplays a spy mission with her toys, but when Loid and Yor reprimand her for attempting to enter their room, they are forced to play along to cheer her up.
The Final Episode
This was a great episode but not the best. The episode begins with an explanation of who Loid, Anya and Yor are which seems redundant but I assumed they didn’t have enough manga material for a whole episode on what they wanted to end on so just left that in. The whole episode was as wholesome as all of them have been and I especially loved the nosey old neighbours, we’ve all got some of those and they were funny to watch.
