Summertime Render “Feeding Time” Review
Summertime Render “Feeding Time” is the eleventh episode of the Summertime Render anime. Following the team being surrounded by shadows at the end of episode 10 they run from them only to eventually find themselves in a cave surrounded by coral, which is made entirely from shadow copying. Meanwhile Nagumo and Nezu Ginjiro end up in the same area later after following Mio and Totsumura who are following the shadows underground. Nagumo and Nezu finally get to an area where they’re threatened by a Shadow that kills Nezu after shooting him by copying Nagumo’s shotgun. Shinpei and company follow Tokiko who is in charge of this whole operation after she admits she may as well show them everything seeing as they’ll all be dead soon. At the end of the episode Heine is seen.

This episode was full of shocks but also some obvious reveals. The reveal that Tokiko was in on the whole thing and a key player was pretty obvious as soon as she was introduced but the extent of which is surprising. Her and Sou’s father chose her to be the one to do things, likely because he knew whatever it is that’ll be revealed next episode wouldn’t sit well with him. Shadow Shiori’s survival was more surprising as was Nezu’s death, I gotta admit I wasn’t expecting that. Overall this was a great episode which is setting up for a fantastic finale next week.
