This week I am bringing you the sounds of S.W.A.T. A film about the elite division of professionals brought in to resolve the worst of situations. This film stars some big names including Samuel L Jackson, LL Cool J, Jeremy Renner, Michelle Rodriguez and Colin Farrell. At the start of the film we see two officers go in and ignore orders to save the day, but because one hostage got shot and the fact they didn’t follow code they end up being reprimanded for it.

Street played by Colin Farrell takes the punishment and stays in the gun cage hoping to get back on the team, where his Partner Gamble played by Jeremy Renner storms out and quits. We join them later in their career as Street is still in the gun cage and is able to join up when Sgt Hondo Harrelson played by Samuel l Jackson is brought in to command a new team, the boss isn’t too happy, but eventually lets Hondo have his team including Street and a woman who S.W.A.T wouldn’t normally have, but Chris Sanchez played by Michelle Rodriguez put most men to shame in her no-nonsense tough persona.
They make it through training and the test they have to do and are able to be a S.W.A.T. team, but are they really able to handle things when Drug Kingpin Alex Montel played by Olivier Martinez has to be transported to a containment facility, all hell breaks loose when he announces that the person to break him free will get 1 hundred Million Dollars. This film has a mix of songs from modern music to pieces that are composed to fit the scenes, I hope you enjoy my favourite selection including a song Named Samuel Jackson.
