Welcome back to Soundtrack Sunday, this week I am bringing you the music that is with a favourite film of mine, a film with Tom Hardy and Chris Pine as spies, both competing for the affections of the same woman, played by Reese Witherspoon. Yes that’s right ‘This Means War’
This is a fast paced film and has plenty of action to it, it is also not shy to throw comedy at you either, Chris Pine plays FDR who is partnered with his best mate Tuck played by Tome Hardy, they are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to getting the bad guys and doing their job. The only problem is when they get a little competitive when they find out that they are dating the same woman Lauren played by Reese Witherspoon. It all ends with a bog showdown with the bad guy who targets not just them.
The music in this film, I have to say I love as it accompanies the mood of the situation, so slow music when they we see romance, fast paced music for the action and some fast paced music or even slow for the comedy depending on how the comedy is played. So let me show you some of the awesome music used in This Means War.
So enjoy the songs I have chosen and if you haven’t seen this film please do, see you next time!
How you like me now, By The Heavy, which is used for an awesome paintball scene which is hilarious
This is how we do it, by Montell Jordan, used for a scene when both boys are bugging Laurens house and she is unaware as she sings along to this song.
Sabotage, by Beastie Boys this song is used to show how competitive they are and how they will ruin each-others dates to win this woman over.
