Arrow Season 4: New Suit Revealed and Green Arrow Name Change

Arrow

At 2015 San Diego Comic Con International, Arrow star Stephen Amell kicked off Warner Bros. Television’s Night of DC Entertainment special event by showing fans a first-ever look at the new version of his Arrow suit.

The new Arrow suit was created by Arrow’s resident costume designer Maya Mani, who has also designed many of the show’s singular super suits — including those of Arsenal (Colton Haynes), Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), Speedy (Willa Holland) and Ray Palmer’s A.T.O.M. (Brandon Routh). The new suit says goodbye to sleeves and hello to even more leather, showing off Oliver’s guns and making him more reminiscent of Green Arrow’s look in the New 52.

Stephen Amell confirmed at San Diego Comic Con that there is a name change to Green Arrow. The CW also released a highlight trailer to promote the forthcoming, fourth season of Arrow.

Starting production next week, DC showAed off a new Arrow video to fans attending its San Diego Comic-Con panel that offered a brief recap of season three. The new season will deal with the fallout from last year’s season finale in which Oliver Queen defeated Ra’s al Ghul, installing his own replacement to head the League of Assassins. Along the way, he’ll butt heads with Ra’s’ longtime foe Damien Darhk.

Arrow’s fourth season picks up with Oliver and Felicity out of town, but what will bring them back? And how will they react? We’ll have to wait until the premiere of Arrow Season 4 on Wednesday, October 7, at 8 PM ET on The CW.
