The lies and bloodshed keep getting deeper and deeper, with no immediate resolution in sight. In the aftermath of Diosa, Nero finds himself in a precarious situation with Henry Lin. His business destroyed and 16 lives lost, Nero wants answers. After confronting Jax, he learns that Lin was behind Tara’s death. When Nero confronted Gemma about it, she didn’t look that convincing in her fake story. I know that Nero loves Gemma, but I hope he realizes soon that he’s sleeping with the enemy. No matter how big the body count gets, there is nothing worse than the effect this is having on Abel. Watching Abel, mad and upset, holding that hammer, while protecting little Thomas was heart-breaking to watch. I’m glad Gemma saw it, so she can feel the guilt of watching her grandson become exactly what Tara feared. I only hope that Wendy can help the boys establish some type of normalcy. It’s pretty sad when the ex-junky mom is their best hope.
In Stockton the gloves are off (guns actually), and Jax goes one on one with Lin. This was going to be his big moment, killing Lin for Tara’s death. Unfortunately, the real cops arrive, and the Sons have to fall back. Not that I’m a fan of Henry Lin, but I feel sorry for him. Now he knows what this vengeance and violence is all about but it’s too late for him and his crew as they were all arrested for gun and drug possession.
Juice who has been a wild card all season is Jax’s only hope in learning the truth about what happened to Tara. Come to find out, he reads about what happened at Diosa, and kills an innocent hotel employee who he thought was one of Lin’s guys. Poor Unser is left to clean up the mess, but not before Gemma finally tells him that Lin was involved in Tara’s death. Again, she was not too convincing in my opinion. So now her two biggest cheerleaders know her lie, but will they figure out her truth? In the car with Gemma, Juice quickly figures out that Gemma plans to kill him, after all he is collateral damage. He catches her in her lie and forces her car off the road, and turns the gun on her instead. But it’s not her time quite yet. Chances are we’ll be seeing mommy dearest again next week.
