Sons of Anarchy: Poor Little Lambs

This week’s Sons of Anarchy episode has been my favorite so far since SAMCRO hit the streets in their final ride. It encompassed a little bit of everything, from sarcastic humor, an unexpected first kiss, and of course a bloody battlefield leaving everyone in Charming vulnerable. Jax’s actions in retaliation for Tara’s murder have spiraled out of control, leaving a line dead bodies everywhere. It’s all coming to a head, and no one in Charming is safe. Jax lead the way, starting an all-out street war with rival clubs, and is now seeing the repercussions of his actions. It’s mayhem everywhere. They better continue to get those body bags ready, because I have a feeling it’s not going to get better any time soon.
Lin’s crew gunned down everyone in Diosa, but not before launching a grenade in the ice cream shop. Lucky for Jax and his crew and the new sheriff in town, no one was hurt. Sadly, that can’t be said for the staff and patrons at Diosa. Part of that body count was none other than Colette, who I’m really not sad to see go. I was never a fan of the Stockton escort queen. So with Colette gone, I guess Jax won’t be fulfilling his “Mommy Fetish” after all.
Speaking of moms, it’s crazy to think that all this violence and death lies with the action of one woman. That is a heavy burden to bear, and it’s only a matter of time before Gemma cracks or Juice confesses what he knows. Both of them are mentally struggling, as we see them talking to themselves repeatedly. When Juice confesses that he can’t handle being alone, and the voices in his head, that sparks a sadness in Gemma as she can also relate. So far, Gemma has gone above and beyond to keep Juice alive, but how long can that last? How long will Juice be able to hold it together? I think it’s a very delicate line that both of them are on.
Enough about all the blood and carnage and craziness, what about that kiss? I absolutely love Tig and Ms. Venus Van Dam together. It was long overdue. Since Tig first laid eyes on Venus, he was in love. Jax asked the club if he should be concerned, and the answer is definitely yes! I think Venus is here to stay, and her affection towards Tig and the rest of the club as well is so pure and so genuine. You can’t help but love her. But Tig wasn’t the only one showing his softer side, Chibs appears to have a thing for the new sheriff. After the explosion at Scoops, he offered to drive her home, and while driving he reached over and held her hand. Aside from Fiona, in seven seasons, we hasn’t seen this side of Chibs. It was apparent when Jarry first laid eyes on the Scot that she had a thing for him, now it appears it might be reciprocated.
