Shadowhunters A Dark Reflection Spoiler Free Preview

This is not going to be a very long post. So much happens in this episode that I can’t even really skirt around very easily. That being said, I’ll try and give you a taste of what to expect in this Shadowhunters A Dark Reflection Spoiler Free Preview.

The Dark Reflection of the episode title refers to the final of the three Mortal Instruments. You know, the one Valentine DOESN’T already have his megalomaniacal hands on.

Alan Van Sprang and Will Tudor continue to do amazing work in this episode but it’s Will who is really slaying (pun totally intended). He’s basically playing two characters, Sebastian and Jonathan, and killing it on both fronts. I really cannot WAIT for the future as I just know this guy is destined for good things!

On a massively shallow note – BY THE ANGEL I am pretty sure Dominic Sherwood was sculpted from marble and brought to life by some benevolent deity for the benefit of fangirls everywhere.

*fans self* Clace shippers – stand ready. I know in interviews Dom said that Jace doesn’t get to be happy in S2 but there is definite progress for the pair in this episode.

It’s also great to see some faces we haven’t seen in a while in this episode. Dot (Vanessa Matsui) has a pretty pivotal part to play in this episode, and so does Cleophas. Welcome back Lisa Berry, you have certainly been missed.

This episode is pretty packed with drama, some misdirection, and a LOT of angst.

There’s also some stuff that I think might agitate a few people. Not to mention a cliffhanger ending that may well cause a few tears and some raised voices. The Seelie Queen didn’t stop with Simon when it came to sowing seeds of mistrust between the Shadowhunters and their Downworlder allies. That becomes VERY evident in this episode.

Shadowhunters A Dark Reflection airs on Freeform Monday July 24th at 8/7c. It will be available worldwide on Netflix from Tuesday July 25th.

I'm a keen, albeit amateur, cosplayer and love attending cons in various cosplays. I'm also the resident comic book girl around these parts, especially small press comics, so if you've got an indie book you want reviewed, I'm your gal! When I'm not doing the fangirl thing I am a keen long-distance hiker, having completed Te Araroa in New Zealand and The Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast of the US.
