Money Heist : Do you believe in Reincarnation? Round Table Review

Our favorite gang is back at it again for their final dance and we couldn’t miss the chance to review the last episodes. Will they make it out alive? Let’s see what’s gonna happen this time. Episode 2 of Money Heist is called “Do you believe in Reincarnation?”. Are you guys ready for some more drama? Joining me (Rike) on this round table review is Sabrina. Let’s do this!

Money Heist : Do you believe in Reincarnation? Synopsis

Arturo (Enrique Arce) seizes an opportunity to fight back while escalating a personal vengeance. Lisbon (Itziar Ituño) makes a crucial discovery.

Tempers running high already with the professor (Álvaro Morte) not being in charge and the hostages find a place to hide. About time?

R: Definitely about time. You can clearly see that they’re getting lost without their leader aka the professor. They do have ideas, but these seem to be ill-conceived in the end. Every single one of them wants to be the hero, but that’s not possible. Sometimes they keep losing their way and get swept up in emotion. Not the best thing if you ask me.

S: Totally time for it!! There is some kind of chaos.. but not controlled chaos as we know it but chaos chaos! They need the professor that’s for sure! As Rike already said.. they seem a bit lost at some points. It’s just not how it’s supposed to be!

Rio (Miguel Herrán) and Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó) are slowly finding their way back to each other. Is a Happy End possible for the two of them? Or is Tokyo’s past gonna haunt her down?

S: Love them both as unique characters but love them even more together! But I still think there won’t be a Happy End at last. But you never know what’s gonna happen in this show so just wait and see what will happen.

R: They’re pretty cute together, gotta admit that. Not sure about the fact that they are gonna make it in the end. Seems like Tokyo didn’t get some closure just yet. However, both of them deserve to be happy and if they figure out a way together then that’s it. Let’s just wait and see. They definitely went through some ups and downs together which made their relationship even stronger at some point.

Arturo playing with Denver’s (Jaime Lorente) mind. Do you think he’s the one breaking/ losing his mind before anyone else?

R: Denver is definitely the most fragile one. How convenient. The one person pretending to be the strongest and unbreakable one is losing his mind over and over again. He’s trying his best to keep the group together from time to time, but in the end he hasn’t been able to assert himself. Definitely something he could work on sooner or later. Anyways, Arturo is being an ass every single time. God.

S: I have loved Denver since the beginning. He has his ups and downs but he always gets his shit back together. But he has his phases.. where we think he’s gonna break. That’s what makes him interesting and awesome to watch. Everything can happen and then he surprises us again and again. To be honest I would’ve exploded because Arturo once again showed us what an ass he is!!

Money Heist

Monica (Esther Acebo) appeared just in time. Seems like Karma came back to Arturo immediately. Do you think he’s gone for good now?

S: Good lord I loved that scene when Monica jumped down, totally badass! Arturo deserves to die .. he’s an ass and he annoys the shit out of me and he needs to be finished for god’s sake! We didn’t see how bad Monica truly hurt him but I kinda hope Arturo will be gone for good.

R: I mean, we didn’t get a glimpse of him just yet. Who knows. Seems like he’s a cat having multiple lives or whatever. He just can’t be stopped even though I wish someone would be able to do so. Please. I can’t listen to him any longer. But on the other hand I don’t want Monica to deal with the “I killed someone” part. Not sure how that would play out in the end.

Your score:

R: 7

S: 6
