Recap: NOS4A2 205: Bruce Wayne McQueen

NOS4A2 205: Bruce Wayne McQueen: Vic returns to her father’s house just in time to see an assault by Charlie Manx and Bing. A new and powerful Creative named The Hourglass assists Charlie with his attempt on Vic’s life and capturing Bruce. The episode is mostly told from different viewpoints for the same scenes.
Wayne is Born
After getting word that Wayne(Jason David) gave away their location to Charlie Manx(Zachary Quinto), Vic(Ashleigh Cummings) races back home. In flashback, we see when Wayne is born. Wayne nearly died at birth.
The Power of The Hourglass

Stopped by and FBI, Jonathan “The Hourglass” Beckett(Paul Schneider) uses his power. Pretending to be lost, he gets the agents close and tells them he wants them to kill anyone at the lake house, except for Wayne. They immediately react aggressively, and order him out of the car. He asks if he may sit his small hourglass down, and they agree. He flips the small hourglass before sitting it down…
Assault on the Lake House
Knowing that Charlie and Bing(Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) are coming, Lou(Jonathan Langdon) and Chris(Ebon Moss-Bachrach) ready the house and themselves. Chris still doesn’t believe that Charlie is a supernatural creature, and goes out to meet the agents when they arrive. They shoot him in the leg, and he dives to safety, returning fire. He kills one agent. Lou turns out the lights in the house, and pushes furniture in front of the door. We see the small hourglass run out of sand, and the surviving agent kills himself.
Inside the house, Wayne comments that he smells cookies baking. Realizing that Bing is gassing the house, Lou ushers them out. Bing is waiting, and gasses Lou.
Vic Arrives
Arriving just as Wayne is being put in the Wraith, Vic is chased down and hit by the car.

As she lies on the ground, Charlie comes with his hammer and beats her. Luckily and unbeknownst to him, the jacket she wears is armor plated. She knocks the hammer from his hand and takes it, smashing Charlie’s face and beating on the car. She tries to get Wayne out, but the car’s back windows will not break.

Bing has a gun, and Wayne tells her to leave. She promises she will rescue him no matter what, and she runs to the water and dives in.

Lou tries to rescue Wayne as well, smashing in the front passenger side window, but to no avail. Charlie beats him mercilessly.

Good news, Wayne. Your father’s coming with you to Christmasland.
Bing taunts Vic as she hides under the dock, and Chris appears behind him, shooting him. Charlie has Wayne in the Wraith and drives off.
Charlie Escapes With Wayne
Safe from Bing, Vic runs to her bike and gives chase to Charlie. The Hourglass hits her with his vehicle, smashing her bike and knocking Vic unconscious.
At the hospital, Vic wakes up and sees Lou and her father(and the asshole Bing) getting treated. Luckily, mother Linda(Virginia Kull) is there and holds her, but is unable to console her.
