Recap: NOS4A2 204: The Lake House

NOS4A2 204: The Lake House: On the run from Charlie Manx and Bing, Vic takes her family to her father’s lake house. Wayne’s troubling new habit of sleepwalking is more than it seems. Tabitha finds Bing’s hideout, and goes after him alone.
Sleepwalking
Wayne(Jason David) is dreaming of Christmasland, and sees the children caroling outside the window. They ask him to come out and play.
Asleep on the couch, Vic(Ashleigh Cummings) wakes up and tries to awaken a sleepwalking Wayne. Unbeknownst to her, he is talking to Charlie Manx(Zachary Quinto), who asks him to do a favor.
The Lake House
In the morning, Vic informs Wayne that she and Lou(Jonathan Langdon) are taking him to meet his grandfather, Chris(Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and to stay at his house. She tells him it is safe from Charlie, but that Wayne must never bring up Charlie to his grandfather, or anyone else.
Maggie(Jahkara J. Smith) decides to go with Vic and her family as protection.
Wayne has brought the candy cane that Charlie gave him at their last meeting, keeping it hidden from his parents.
Lou wants to formally adopt Wayne, and Vic agrees, telling him that she is staying.
Talking Sober
Vic asks her father if he has any ANFO from his work, to line the road to the house. Later, he tells her that she needs to decide if she wants Lou. If not, let him go. If so, fight for him.
Alone with Lou, Vic confirms that she wants him to stay, and he confirms he wants to.
Sleepwalking Again
Later that night, Wayne is standing in the lake. He is talking to Charlie again, and gives their location away. Vic thinks he is talking to her as she tries to rouse him.
Charlie tells Bing(Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) to get the gas, they have work to do.
Finding Bing
Tabitha(Ashley Romans) has a lead on Bing. Tracking him to his last job, she finds he hadn’t appeared for work. But going to the sevoflurane gas cabinet, they find the last night’s shipment missing. His(former) employer gives her an address: an abandoned church. Tabitha goes to the address, and sees Bing; she decides to go after him alone.
The Candy Cane
Finding the candy cane, Vic begs Wayne to tell her anything he knows. He rebuffs her, telling her how disappointing she is. She tells him she is trying to be better.

Using Maggie’s tiles, they find where Tabitha is-with Bing. After Maggie recovers, she and Vic take the bridge to rescue her.
Tabitha is fighting for her life against both Bing and Charlie. Trapped in the church’s basement, she beats Bing down with an old metal candlestick. Handcuffing him, Charlie appears behind her and beats her in the shoulder with a hammer. Retrieving her gun, she shoots Charlie in the head.
Appearing at the scene, the area surrounded by the sounds of sirens and police lights, Vic and Maggie find Tabitha harmed, but alive.
Confession

Charlie awakens, pulling the bullet out of his head and smiling. The two seemingly escape in the Wraith, as Tabitha tells Vic and Maggie that they got away from her.
Lou calls Vic and tells her that Wayne confessed to talking to Charlie for real while he was sleepwalking, and that he gave away their location. Vic puts two and two together, realizing the candy cane was the link. She tells Lou to not let Wayne get into the Wraith and heads home.
