Constantine goes to hell to find an unrepentant Astra(Oliva Swann) dining in luxury. She won’t recall the evil souls she released; they are giving her too much power. Not to mention she gets to keep all the souls they send her.

Nate Skywalker
Nate(Nick Zano) is trying to get the message from the mystery woman back, but Gideon(Amy Louise Pemberton) has wiped her clean away. Unlike Luke Skywalker, he only gets to see the message once. When Behrad(Shayan Sobhian) comes in to check on Nate, Nate sees Behrad turn into Zari(Tala Ashe) briefly. Behrad thinks Nate just got into his stash.

The crew is suddenly called to 1947, where a reanimated Bugsy Siegel is terrorizing LA with an infernal gun.

The team pose as recently deceased private eyes, and plan to use his girlfriend, Jeanie(Haley Strode), to get to Bugsy and the weapon he brought back from hell. She tells them all she wants to do is get away from him. She has been Bugsy’s honeypot for men and women, getting them photographed in compromising positions with her so Bugsy can blackmail them. MATT RYAN GOT TO DO AN AMERICAN ACCENT AGAIN! Two American Thumbs up, Sir.

Ava and Mick(Dominic Purcell) get the cushy job of scoping out the place Bugsy hangs out. To Mick’s delight, it is a bar. They have a heart to heart about being on the team during their time there. They also drink a lot.

Sara poses as a smexy reporter, and sees Bugsy’s powers in action. He gets shot up by a rival gang, survives, resulting in him turning them all to dust with his gun from hell.
Bugsy uses the hell gun, which I can only surmise is the exact opposite of Wynonna Earp’s Peacemaker.

Nate and Behrad travel to 2044 to Behrad’s family home for his father’s birthday. Behrad needs Nate to pose as a professor to keep up his ruse of going to business school, so he invites him home to meet the parents(David Diaan, Mitra Loraz) at his father’s birthday party. A little off topic, but Mitra Loraz is incredibly beautiful. IS SHE EVEN REAL? She is listed as Mitra Lohrsab on the Imdb site for this episode, but I believe that is wrong. There Nate sees his mystery girl, a now vapid and internet famous Zari. I love the show’s writers for having every cliche line these “influencers” say come out of Zari’s mouth. And big kudos to Tala Ashe for this 180° character turn.

After a swinging version of Poison by an inebriated Eva, Mick takes Bugsy out with one punch. We find out the swinging version of Poison was all in Eva’s head; she’s just a hot mess.

Angry over Jeanie’s death, John returns Bugsy to hell, intending to use the last bullet in the gun to take out Astra, but he finds he can’t. He still has hope she can be redeemed. Yes, he has to ingest Bugsy blood to do it. That boy will put anything in his mouth. How did he survive toddlerhood? He uses the last bullet to finish Bugsy once and for all, I think. Not sure about hell gun logistics.

Zari is cleverer than her brother thinks. She is about to figure $#!t out.

Nate nearly gets a kiss from the scheming Zari, who knows Behrad has been lying about business school. She shows Nate and Behrad the video of HeyWorld, which happened twenty two years earlier. She doesn’t know how, but her brother and Nate were there. Behrad decides to show Zari the truth, and he takes her onboard the Waverider. She has zero phone service, and freaks out just a tad. OK. A lot. She freaks out a lot.
