In the clip below from Outlander | Episode 210 – Prestonpans Fergus (Roman Berrux) is begging Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) to be allowed to fight at Prestonpans.
Wee Fergus wants to go and steal the General’s sword, “because a General cannot fight without one.” Jamie wanting to keep the lad safe, by staying with the women and keeping them safe. Claire wants the same and to keep the fires lit in the infirmary.
Jamie tells the wee lad that he only trusts him to keep Lady Broch Tuarach safe and sound while he goes off and fights.
