The New PS5 Controller: Has this leaked image of a new Sony patent revealed it’s new design?
It goes without saying that Sony’s PS5 will be 2020s most anticipated console of the year. How do you get one up on the already legendary PS4?
Well, a new patent taken out by Sony on the Japanese Patent Office’s website show what clearly seems to be a new look at the plans for the DualShock5. Is this going to be the new PS5 controller?
If this does turn out to be a good look at the final product.
It seems that Sony have decided to modify the size of the triggers and sticks and as a result taken away the light bar fully and put a USB port where the current headphone jack is.
Other leaks have shown what seems to be an in built microphone that wraps around the underbelly of the controller. This would tie in with Sony’s push for stronger and more well rounded streaming and online play for their games.

I think I’m in the last category. I’m not sure how much it’ll have a sway on what I feel about the PS5 as a whole until there’s more information confirmed.
