Years & Years
A few years ago some friends turned me on to this group Years & Years. I wasn’t too in to them at first, but I gave them a second listen and I like them now. There is something about their front man, Olly Alexander, that just makes you wanna love him.
His voice reminds me of a young Micheal Jackson. Seriously he is that good to me. Olly’s style is all his own. He is just wild, bright. I love when people are themselves and don’t care what others think. He is free and I really love that about him. He is also one hell of a dancer. That boy can move.
He shows off all three in the newest video for the latest single from their new album, If You’re Over Me.
Years&Years seems to be telling a story with these videos. The first video released, which is also the first song on the album, is Sanctify. There is a lot going on, so maybe watch this one first, then watch the one above.
I am sure I will be downloading this album as soon as it is released. Here is the complete track list for Palo Santo which is set to release on July 6th, 2018.
On Years & Years official website you can pre-order the album. You can also get early access to the concert ticket, when dates are set for their upcoming tour in the US and the UK. Also, if you order from the website, you can get more then just the album. There is a lot of Palo Santo goodies.
I am sure the new album is going to be great. But I still love “King” from their previous album.
