3 months ago, I had my September all planned out. I was going to Forks with my besties and I was going to see my 2 favorite bands, Linkin Park and 30 Seconds to Mars, in concert TOGETHER… But then life happened and I found out that I have to have surgery. There goes that monkey wrench right in the middle of my plans. Well, when life gives you lemons… you buy vodka and make lemon drop shots to forget about what you are missing. Or in my case, you post a blog about it. Hahahaha.
The next 3 blogs are in honor of what I am missing this September… Thank you, gallbladder… dick. Lol.
1st Up – Linkin Park:
The first time I heard this band was back when MTV still showed music videos early in the morning. I was sold as soon as I heard Chester yell, “SHUT UP WHEN I’AM TALKING TO YOU.” From that moment on, I was in love with that band. Their lyrics and music hit home for me in so many different ways. Some of their songs are the soundtrack to my life. Over the course of the last 14 years, they have had hit after hit as a band and even a few solo projects. But once again, they are back together and with a new album, “The Hunting Party” and are currently on tour. Go and see them if you can… They rock!

I have to stop, ‘cause if I keep going, I will be like the Energizer bunny – going and going and going… What can I say? I love Linkin Park and I am beyond sad that I am going to miss their concert. It pains me. Damn you, gallbladder… dick!
