Marvel’s Runaways Trailer Debuts
Hulu’s new series, Marvel’s Runaways, dropped its first trailer earlier today. Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the drama follows six teens from different backgrounds who unite against their parents, otherwise known as The Pride.
Runaways Background
Runaways was originally written in 2008. The idea was put on the shelf in 2013 after the success of Marvel’s blockbuster hit The Avengers. Hulu is now ready to jump on the MCU bandwagon. In 2016, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage joined forces to write the script for the pilot. Filming on the pilot began in Los Angeles in February 2017. Production is expected to end in October. The series will debut November 21 with ten episodes on the schedule.

According to Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Executive Vice President, the show will be independent and not cross over into the other MCU series. The characters in Runaway’s are not concerned with the actions of The Avengers.
