Shadowhunters Season Three Premiere Date, Sizzle Reel & More
As I’m sure you are all very aware, Shadowhunters had a panel at New York Comic Con yesterday, October 7th. Matthew Daddario, Katherine McNamara, Isaiah Mustafa and Alisha Wainwright attended from the cast. They were joined by Exec Producer/Director Matt Hastings and Showrunners Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer. During the panel it was confirmed that the Shadowhunters season three premiere would air on Tuesday April 3rd, 2018 at 8/7c.
Fans in the theatre at Madison Square Garden were treated to a sizzle reel for the upcoming season.

Freeform Announces 10 Additional Episodes for Shadowhunters
It was also announced that Shadowhunters had been given an additional ten episode pick up in 2018. It remains unclear at the present time if these ten episodes are an extension of season three, making it 30 episodes in total, or if they are the start of a fourth season. We will be keeping an eye on this news and will of course update you as soon as we know.
Freeform Announces Broadway star Javier Muñoz (‘Hamilton’) and Actress Anna Hopkins (‘Arrow’) Will Be Joining the Cast This Season; Special Video Announcement from Javier Muñoz Revealed
Muñoz and Hopkins will guest star in season three as two new adversaries for our Shadowhunters crew – this season’s main villain, Lilith, played by Anna Hopkins (Arrow) and a rival warlock for Magnus Bane played by Javier Muñoz (Hamilton). Muñoz couldn’t be there in person but sent along a special video to fans that was played during the panel.
As he says in the video, Muñoz is a huge fan of the show. He regularly tweets when he’s watching episodes and interacts with the cast. We’re excited to see this new character and how he fits in to the Shadow World we’ve come to know and love.

UPDATE: Spoiler TV have released the titles of the first five episodes of Season 3. If you don’t want to know any more then stop reading.
