The news is coming thick and fast from Marvel Studios these days, and they’ve just confirmed that Krysten Ritter will be playing the lead in the upcoming Netflix series A.K.A Jessica Jones.
Ritter will be well known to fans of Breaking Bad, Don’t Trust the B—- In Apartment 23 and Veronica Mars.
For those of you unfamiliar with Jessica Jones, she first appeared in the ALIAS comic book series as a superhero but when her career was cut short she decided to set up as a Private Investigator dealing with cases of people with extraordinary abilities.
A.K.A Jessica Jones will form part of the Netflix/Marvel Defenders series alongside Daredevil, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, and is due to debut in 2015 after Daredevil.
