Manifest – Tailfin Synopsis, Photos and Promotional Videos
NBC released the official synopsis, promotional photos and preview for the first episode of Manifest Season 3 titled, Tailfin, airing April, 1st. Episode 1, “Tailfin”, was written by Jeff Rake & Bobak Esfarjani and directed by Romeo Tirone. Previously on Manifest…
Cal (Jack Messina) had been kidnapped by three meth dealers called Jace (James McMenamin), Pete (Devin Harjes) and Kory (DazMann Still). They offered to return him to the Stones in order to get their drugs back from Mick (Melissa Roxburgh) and Jared (J. R. Ramirez).
The first trade didn’t go ahead, but the group was able to track down Cal thanks to a calling. After Pete showed his softer side and let Cal sneak out, everyone chased onto a frozen lake to get him back. The ice cracked, plunging Cal and the meth dealers into the water. Zeke (Matt Long) saved Cal, but finally died of the frostbite he has been suffering with over the last couple episodes. However, no sooner had he died than he came back to life. This proved that it is possible to beat the death date.
In the closing scene of the Manifest season 2 finale, a boat near Cuba recovers a plane’s tail fin from the ocean. The tail fin is identified as one belonging to Flight 828. What does this mean? Guess we’ll find out soon enough.
