The Accident
Maybe some of you heard it already but Tom Cruise broke his ankle while filming a stunt back in August for Mission: Impossible 6 in Norway.
The following behind the scene trailer shows Cruise dangling over the edge of the Preikestolen cliff with the clifftop seemingly a scene for an action sequence in the movie.
This looks amazing but scary as hell if you ask me.
Synopsis
We also got the official synopsis for Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong.
Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.
The movie is due for release on July 27th 2018.
