Joseph Morgan to appear in Legacies Finale

Joseph Morgan to appear in Legacies Finale

It’s official. Joseph Morgan is going to be in the Legacies Season Finale. After 2 and a half weeks of teasing his fans with riddles, codes and hidden messages Joseph finally confirmed that he has filmed one final time as the Original Hybrid himself, Klaus Mikaelson, for the season finale of Legacies (and end of the TVDU).

It started with this:

And some clever folks figured out that “cages lie” is an anagram of Legacies.

Then there was his “official statement”

Where the first letter of each sentence  spelled out “Legacies”, not to mention the cheeky wink when he said “Hope” (the name of his daughter, one of the main characters in Legacies).

Then he got REALLY cryptic, with letter shift ciphers like this one

Which solves to “Klaus will find a wab” (obviously a little error at the end there, he forgot to shift the letter).

There were more puzzles, until finally he tweeted this

And then it was confirmed. He spoke in an instagram live about having filmed again as Klaus for the finale. How he will appear is total speculation at this point, however the official episode synopsis for the finale runs as follows:

Hope, Lizzie, MG, Kaleb, Jed, Cleo, and Alaric reflect on recent events and what comes next for each of them. Hope and Lizzie each find solace from unexpected yet welcome sources.

Presumably Hope’s unexpected yet welcome source is her father.
