Joseph Morgan, Hannah John-Kamen join Brave New World Cast
The upcoming adaptation of Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World has just added a slew of new names to the cast including FANdemonium Network faves Joseph Morgan and Hannah John-Kamen.
Brave New World
The 1932 dystopian novel by Aldous Huxley features a world where humans are genetically engineered and assigned to a class hierarchy that is rigorously controlled by the government. One man sees the flaws in the system and attempts to change it.
Hannah John-Kamen (Killjoys) will play Wilhelmina “Helm” Watson, a gender-flipped version, we assume, of book character Helmholtz Watson. A gifted artist who struggles to find a place for their art in the World State.
Joseph Morgan will play a character called CJack60, a member of the lowest class, the Epsilon. He’s a menial worker. This may require some suspension of disbelief, unless they plan to pile him under a tonne of make-up, as Epsilons are meant to be the shortest and ugliest of the five classes!
Hannah and Joseph join a cast that so far includes Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story) and Jessica Brown Findlay as Bernard Marx and Lenina Crowne. Also joining them are Nina Sosanya (Strike Back), Kylie Bunbury (Pitch) and Sen Mitsuji.
