Superman Edition
Happy Birthday Henry
Today is Henry Cavill’s 38th birthday. I can’t be with him today to celebrate because covid and travel restrictions. But I am sure his family, friends, and his new girlfriend (who isn’t me, I know shocking) will be celebrating with him. I decided to post all my favorite actors that have ever played Superman over the next week. Of course first up is the birthday boy himself, Henry Cavill.
The Super Suit
I remember the first time I saw Henry Cavill in the super suit. It was a picture in a magazine like a sneak peek and I thought, “ok they are doing better this time around.” No one filled out the super suit like Henry. The super suit has changed over the years depending on when is playing him. From blue, red, and yellow with the underwear on the outside to black and silver. Henry even did his audition in the original super suit that Christopher Reeves wore.
I love all the different versions but I must say Henry’s super suits are my favourite. I love that they are textured. Like you could really feel them if you ran your hand across it. Can you tell I have thought about this….A LOT. I love the traditional blue and red suit, but there is some thing about the black and silver super suit that is just freaking amazing.
Justice League: Snyder Cut
This movie was just amazing. It was four hours long and jam packed with so many details. But it was totally worth it. This verse of the Justice League really did Superman justice that lacked in the other one. I really enjoyed all of it. And I fall in love with Henry as Superman all over again. That scene were he is in front of his broken down monument was just EPIC! It just made me wish that the powers that be would hurry up and make Man of Steel 2 or Superman 2. We really need this in our lives and Henry needs it too. He really is the perfect Superman. I know, I know, I might be bias as I am a huge Henry fan but first I am a Superman fan. I am open to different verse and even different actors but Henry is P.E.R.F.E.C.T. as Superman. I’m gonna stop now.
