Don’t Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro “You’re All Red Senpai / Senpai You Could Be A Little More” Review

Don’t Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro “You’re All Red Senpai / Senpai You Could Be A Little More” is the fourth episode of the Nagatoro anime. A huge leap from episode 3. Senpai and Nagatoro are now approaching what looks like a genuine friendship.

You’re All Red, Senpai

Chilling out in the art room, Senpai is approached by two of Nagatoro’s friends. They tease him but with them it’s clearly outright bullying. Whilst one is forcing Senpai’s hand the other shoves her breast in it. Nagatoro slides the door open and is clearly not happy. Senpai is happy to see her though. They have lunch and chat about a deluxe red bean paste bun. Nagatoro teases Senpai by putting them in her chest area under her shirt and tells him he can have a bit if he guesses which is the deluxe one. Unfortunately for her, the deluxe slips out of her shirt and Senpai accidentally fondles her breast for a while thinking it’s a bun. They’re both awkward as hell after and it provides for great comedy along with a bit more clarity on how Nagatoro feels about Senpai.

Senpai, You Could Be A Little More…

Whilst waiting for Nagatoro. Senpai watches a baseball game on the school grounds. After she finally arrives he makes the claim that he doesn’t have any skills whatsoever. Nagatoro exclaims that to get a compliment he must give one, so she asks to be complimented by him. He does but she’s clearly taken aback by how many glowing compliments he can think of for her. She struggles, whether it’s because she doesn’t want to let him know how much she’s noticed and liked, or genuinely can’t think of anything is up to interpretation. Senpai finally starts to draw her but it takes a while as he’s used to still life. Eventually it takes so long that Nagatoro falls asleep and he draws her like that. He notices a bunch of mistakes but the episode ends with Nagatoro saying she likes the drawing.

Review

What a great episode! The two sections fit perfectly to show the growing bond between Senpai and Nagatoro. Things are getting even now as Nagatoro is finding herself just as flustered with Senpai around than he was with her in the beginning episodes. The rift that was always there between them is closing. The irony being, neither of them seem to be noticing it.

On the whole this was a wholesome funny episode that will be remembered as the point they both were technically friends.
