Don’t Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro “You’re A Wimp Senpai / Senpai Let’s Go To The Beach” Review

Don’t Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro “You’re A Wimp Senpai / Senpai Let’s Go To The Beach” is the sixth episode of the Nagatoro anime. Unlike the more rom-com feel of episode 5. Episode 6 begins with a nightmare about Nagatoro and the nightmare of going to the beach.

You’re a Wimp, Senpai

Waking up in an RPG world. Senpai is given the typical storyline of having magic and having to save the world. He bumps into Nagatoro on the way who is a cat hybrid creature. She’s super strong, unlike him. So they decide to team up and take on the monsters and the demon lord together. Taking on the demon lord’s castle they have to slay a dragon to pass. This proves to be a problem but working together they eventually defeat it. Unsuspectingly the dragon turns into a human and that human is Gamo. Close-by an egg hatches and reveals Yoshi, who’s sorta dressed as the Yoshi.

The three enter the demon lord’s castle and throne room to find he’s not there. But the demon lord is there. All of a sudden Nagatoro and her friends transform into demons and go to kill Senpai. When he suddenly wakes up from the nightmare in a Cafe. Nagatoro asks if he’s OK and spots his notebook he left behind, with drawings of her as a cat in it. She chases after him and the episode ends with her teasing.

Senpai, Let’s Go To The Beach

Senpai is enjoying his summer doing nothing but watch TV when Nagatoro calls. She convinces him to go to the beach as it’s summer and he’d not do anything otherwise. He relents and unfortunately her friends are there too. They all get a spot on the beach but Senpai stays under his beach umbrella. Until Nagatoro comes and teases him. She forces him to put on sun cream even kicking it on him with her feet. When her pals join in. She’s not too thrilled about this, though she allows it.

Eventually Senpai does a bit of floating and is utterly exhausted by the end of the day. He relents to himself later that it wasn’t that bad, mostly because it gave him inspiration to draw a picture of Nagatoro having fun though.

Review

Not much to say here. The show keeps up it’s fantastic pacing but changes tactics concerning Nagatoro and Senpai. Whilst previous episodes have explored how close they’re getting, this one just takes that as a given now and throws in new themes. Like poor Senpai’s trauma he suffers from the girls. Thankfully Nagatoro is there to protect him before they get too rough with him though!
