Netflix will debut Marvel’s Daredevil in April 2015. Up until now, we have only gotten a glimpse into the series. Today, thanks to Collider and The British Board of Film Classification, we were given the names of the first three episodes, their directors and the approximate runtime.
A quick synopsis of the series:
“Marvel’s Daredevil” follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.
Episode One is titled “Into the Ring” and will be directed by Phil Abraham. (Runtime: 52:47) Abraham is known for his work in The Sopranos and Mad Men.
Episode Two, “Cut Man” will also be directed by Phil Abraham. (Runtime: 52:28)
Episode Three, “Rabbit In A Snow Storm” will be directed by Adam Kane. (Runtime: 51:51) Kane’s work can be seen in TV Shows Pushing Daisies and Grey’s Anatomy
Daredevil has a cast that includes Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk).
