Fifty Shades Soundtrack Makes Own Record

Fifty Shades of Grey

After a big opening weekend at the box office, where Fifty Shades of Grey smashed records and ranked #1, the official soundtrack is now making a mark of its own.

According to Billboard, the soundtrack came in at #2 on the top 200 list selling 258,000 albums, marking the second highest debut for a soundtrack since Michael Jackson’s 2009 album This Is It (373,000 album sales).

The big difference between the two albums, the Fifty Shades of Grey album is multi-artist.

It seems like this movie is going to be breaking records all over (no pun intended).
