Having watched the gameplay footage that came out around E3 last year I can confirm they are not kidding when they talk about the vastness of Night City. For such a massive game I understand why they are taking their time to make sure it’s absolutely perfect. There’s nothing worse than a game being rushed out with flaws that later have to be patched, or fixed via purchasing DLCS, forever tainting your memory of your initial playthrough. coughs EA Games coughs.
Other reasons?
Now, the cynically minded might suggest another reason for the delay. Pushing back to September would put it right around new console release territory too. With the PS5 and new Xbox consoles due out at the end of 2020 it could be a good reason to delay so the game could be bundled with the new consoles?
Nevertheless the gamers here at FANdemonium Towers remain hyped for the release of Cyberpunk 2077. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
