The Arrow himself, hottie Stephen Amell will be adding a rad new role to his resume this summer. The actor has been tapped to play Casey Jones in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel.
Casey Jones has always been a fan favourite character, and even appeared in the 1990 movie played by Elias Koteas. Variety reports that Amell tested alongside several other actors over the weekend but it was his chemistry with Megan Fox, who plays Jones’ love interest April O’Neil, that apparently secured him the role.
Megan Fox returns for the sequel, as does Will Arnett. The sequel is slated to hit theatres in 2016.
