Throw Back Thursday – We Miss Constantine

It’s been a little over a year now since Constantine ended, way too bloody soon, but the love in the Hellblazer community continues unabated.

Fans still use hashtags like #BringBackConstantine and #ConstantineLives daily on social media, there are podcasts like the HellblazerDJ and the proliferation of amazing fan art and videos is pretty damn awesome. So for this Throw Back Thursday we thought we would assemble some of our favourites for your perusal.

Fanvids such as this

and

both from the brilliant Karolyne, aka @BAdeMorte on twitter.

This one combines two of my favourite things, Constantine and Fall Out Boy

And this one made me cackle (and drool just a bit, something about whipped cream), plus I love the song

There’s also a whole world of fan-art out there!

These appeared on my feed the other day from a Hellblazer I follow, TK Kiszka, and I was blown away, love the way TJ has blended live action Constantine into the classic Dangerous Habits cover!

And another favourite of mine comes from @_HaikusGoddess and spoofs the “eat a snickers” commercials

Don’t forget there is a petition out there to bring the show back for a well-deserved second season AND a petition for a DVD release for season 1.

About author(s)

Clare Hemsworth

Hey, I'm Clare, aka Ciara or C. My current fandoms are RWBY and The Last Kingdom along with a bunch of other stuff I tend to let build up and then binge! I'm a keen, albeit amateur, cosplayer and love attending cons in various cosplays. I'm also the resident comic book girl around these parts, especially small press comics, so if you've got an indie book you want reviewed, I'm your gal! When I'm not doing the fangirl thing I am a keen long-distance hiker, having completed Te Araroa in New Zealand and The Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast of the US.
