Worthington joins kidnap movie

Sam Worthington will join the cast of Kidnapping Freddie Heineken

Sam Worthington has signed up to star in Sir Anthony Hopkins‘ new movie.

Jim Sturgess and Ryan Kwanten are also joining the cast of Kidnapping Freddy Heineken, reported The Wrap.
The film was adapted from a bestselling book by Netherlands crime journalist Peter R deVries and tells the real life tale of the 1983 kidnapping of  brewery magnate Freddy Heineken and his chauffeur. The pair were eventually released for a ransom that would have been around 30 million pounds today.
Hopkins is to play Heineken and the three newcomers are expected to play the kidnappers.
The film is being directed by Daniel Alfredson.
Production is due to start in Belgium this month before moving to Amsterdam and New Orleans.
