The Holiday Season Is Upon Us, And We Can Easily Lose Sight Of Our TV Schedule. This Is What’s Hot To Watch In November.

The holiday season can make anyone go both happy and crazy in a moments notice, I for one look for happy distractions in my fave shows and new ones. We took the time to put together a list of all the shows and the new ones that will be making on the small screen this November.

Early November highlights include:

Netflix’s new series The Crown. The Crown stars Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth II, Matt Smith as Philip Duke of Edinburgh, John Lithgow as Winston Churchill, Jared Harris as King George VI, and Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret.

Gilmore Girls makes their much anticipated return to the small screen on November 25. We get to see Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel), Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham), Luke Danes (Scott Patterson),  and  Jess Mariano (Milo Ventimiglia) back in Stars Hollow, Connecticut to warm us to the core this holiday season. 

Sunday’s TNT is bringing back it’s hit The Librarians starting November 20th at 8 p.m. ET.  The series is about a group of librarians set off on adventures in an effort to save mysterious, ancient artifacts. I can’t wait to see Rebecca Romijn (Eve Baird), Christian Kane (Jake Stone), Lindy Booth (Cassandra Cillian), John Harlan Kim (Ezekiel Jones), John Larroquette (Jenkins) and original librarian Noah Wyle as Flynn Carsen. 

Showtime’s The Affair is returning for season three beginning November 2o at 10 pm ET.

A struggling novelist and a young waitress strike up an extramarital relationship that promises to forever change the course of their lives.

Monday night’s just got funnier on TBS. Beginning November 21 the first season of Search Party airs.

Search Party centers on Dory (Alia Shawkat), a fragile, frustrated, life-long doormat who’s not particularly proud of her impact on the world, especially since her greatest accomplishment to date is ..

 

What To Watch November

Tuesday nights will see new shows Good Behavior and Shooter premiering. Good Behavior will be bringing back Michelle Dockery back to the small screen as the star of this new TNT drama. Good Behavior premieres on November 15 at 9 P.M.

Letty Dobesh (Michelle Dockery) is a thief and con artist whose life is always one wrong turn, one bad decision, from implosion. Which is just how she likes it. Fresh out of prison, she’s attempting to stay afloat. But when she overhears a hit man being hired to kill a man’s wife, she sets out to derail the job, sending her on a wild collision course with the charming killer, and entangling them in dangerous, seductive relationship.

Shooter stars Ryan Phillippe as Bob Lee Swagger. 

A conspiracy thriller that follows the journey of Bob Lee Swagger, a highly-decorated veteran who is coaxed back into action to prevent a plot to kill the President.

If this plot sounds familiar it is because we saw this on the big screen back in 2007. Then it starred Mark Wahlberg, and Michael Peña. USA Networks is bringing this thriller to the small screen on Tuesday November 15 at 10 PM.

WGN America’s Salem has returned to the Wednesday line-up at 9 P.M. ET. On November 30 Syfy will be debuting it’s new series Incorporated (trailer below).

Pure Genius started this month on CBS. The next showing is on November 17th at 10 P.M. ET.

A young Silicon Valley tech-titan enlists a veteran surgeon with a controversial past in starting a hospital with a cutting-edge, new school approach to medicine.

Sunday night are welcoming Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency to BBC America.

Centers on the titular holistic detective who investigates cases involving the supernatural. Based on the Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency novel series, written by Douglas Adams and published by Simon and Schuster in 1987.

Samuel Barnett (Penny Dreadful) is in the lead role, with Elijah Wood as Todd.
