WATCH: Stranger Things Season 3 Trailer

One summer can change everything. That’s right, the Stranger Things Season 3 Trailer has landed! Check it out.

Okay, anyone else really missing CSI:NY right now or just me? Okay, on to the important stuff.

So what has been happening?

Seems like the times are definitely a-changing for our beloved band of nerds and misfits as season 3 begins. Trying to regain a sense of normality perhaps Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) has just gotten back from summer camp. Not quite completely normal though as Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) uses her powers so that she and the rest of the gang can give him a surprise welcome home…that doesn’t quite go according to plan. While Dustin has been away it seems Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Eleven’s relationship has blossomed, as has Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max’s (Sadie Sink).

Summer at the Starcourt Mall

Steve (Joe Keery) has a job at the mall, probably to impress girls knowing him, but given the end of this trailer, his friendship with the Hawkins Middle School gang doesn’t seem to be doing his cred much good. Seems like the rest of the gang, Max included, are spending quite a lot of time there. Max and Eleven seem to be hanging out a lot which is pretty cool to see. A quick glance at imdb lists the title for the final episode as The Battle of Starcourt, so I get the feeling we’re going to be spending a lot of time there this season.

Eagle Eyes Required

There’s a LOT going on in this trailer, particularly towards the end. Who is that stalking through the fairground Hall of Mirrors and who is he after? Is that Max’s mean old step-brother Billy (Dacre Montgomery) in the shower with some Hawkins Lab looking nasty on his arm? Did anyone else spot the Dread Pirate Roberts himself, Cary Elwes, as the town’s mayor?

I guess we will find out the answers to all of these questions and more when Stranger Things Season 3 premieres on Netflix on July 4th.
