Vampire Diaries Move On Promo

A new longer promo for the 6th season of The Vampire Diaries has fans thirsty for more. With 24 days to go until the season premiere this new promo gives us extended versions of some scenes we saw in the last trailer and some new glimpses.

It begins with Elena “talking to” Damon, thanking him for everything he brought to her life but mourning that it ended. The title of the trailer obviously refers to the later shot of Damon telling Elena to move on rather than any attempts on her part to do so.

Caroline meets with Alaric to ask about Stefan who seems to be doing some moving on of his own, being that he’s in bed with someone else, somewhere far from Mystic Falls. Is Caroline pining for Stefan? They did seem to be getting close last season but apparently he left town without saying goodbye so it seems perhaps any feelings are purely one sided.

Someone is eating campers in the woods in Mystic Falls, despite it being a supernatural free zone still since the Travellers worked their mojo. Is that someone Elena? She’s certainly snacking on passing motorists, much to Caroline’s shock.

There is also a split second image which appears to show everyone’s favourite human Matt conducting some sort of martial arts training camp right in the middle of the town square. I’m certainly intrigued to see how that plays out in the rest of the season.

No signs of Enzo yet, but I’m sure the devious vampire is up to no good somewhere very nearby.

The Vampire Diaries returns October 2nd on the CW.

Clare Hemsworth

Hey, I'm Clare, aka Ciara or C. My current fandoms are RWBY and The Last Kingdom along with a bunch of other stuff I tend to let build up and then binge! I'm a keen, albeit amateur, cosplayer and love attending cons in various cosplays. I'm also the resident comic book girl around these parts, especially small press comics, so if you've got an indie book you want reviewed, I'm your gal! When I'm not doing the fangirl thing I am a keen long-distance hiker, having completed Te Araroa in New Zealand and The Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast of the US.
